The Northern Nevada Chapter of ASIS International consists of security professionals from the gaming industry, private investigators, security consultants and corporate security managers to name a few. Our chapter provides scholarships to deserving individuals in the security field each year. We also show our appreciation to the Northern Nevada law enforcement community each November with our Law Enforcement Appreciation luncheon.
The chapter also performs training for the security industry with seminars to assist the entry level as well as management level personnel. Chapter History: The following letter was the beginning of the Northern Nevada Chapter of ASIS International. The original group of security practitioners wanted to grow their organization not only in size but an organization which included national training and networking etc. The original group was called the Northern Nevada Security Association.
ASIS International regrets to report the death of Life Member Richard A. Wright, a member ofthe ASIS Board of Directors during thearly 1980s. Wright joined in 1956 and was a member of the Northern Nevada chapter. | |||
